When a tree is hazardous, is causing a nuisance, and shows signs of being in such a condition, the owner of the land on which it stands is normally liable under UK laws for any personal injury or other damage it may cause due to failure.
This liability arises from provisions by which the occupier has a common duty of care to others who enter the land or it's vicinity.
We can provide written tree reports that will identify potential weaknesses which may result in failure before this occurs. Recommendations can then be made to control or eliminate that risk.
Written Tree Reports Include:
Condition / Species / Size / Location of tree/s
Potential Weaknesses
Recomendations for remedial surgery (including reasons for)
Anticipated cost of remedial surgery
Photographs to support findings
We carry out two types of tree report.
Inspection from ground level & written report- £120
Climbing tree inspection & written report- £195
Should we subsequently obtain tree work from the recommendations made, 50% of the total cost of your tree report will be refunded.
