Protected Trees

When a tree is in a Conservation Area or is subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO), it is classed as being protected.

Planning Consent is required by your local planning authority 'before' any form of tree work can be carried out on these trees.

This involves:

a.   Drawing up a plan showing the exact location of tree/s
      in relation to your property.
b.   Submitting a specification of works for the intended tree work.
c.   Explain the reasons why the work needs to be undertaken.

There are heavy fines for those who attempt to carry out unauthorised works to protected trees.

Acorn Tree Surgery are approved to work in Conservation Areas 'and' those trees subject to TPO's. Should our quotation for tree work be accepted, we will obtain Planning Consent at no addional cost to the quoted price.
